Traffic Engineer with 5+ years Experience Needed
Our client has an immediate need for a Traffic Engineer to work in Baltimore, MD. Salary is commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits package including 3-weeks vacation, 401k plan, 100% employer paid premium for individual health, dental, vision and disability insurance, profit sharing bonus, 8 paid holidays and a great team atmosphere. Â
Description & Requirements:
• This position requires an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5-7+ years experience in traffic engineering analysis and design.
• Synchro and HCM analysis, SimTraffic and CORSIM, strong knowledge and skills in MicroStation V8.
• Responsible for signal design, signing and pavement markings, highway lighting, ITS design (CCTV, HAR, RWIS, DMS, landline and wireless communications Design).
• Strong project management, technical writing and communication skills.
• Involvement in technical professional societies such as ITE, TRB, ASCE, ASHE, etc.
• Professional registration (PE) in Maryland is required for the senior position; PTOE is also desirable.
• Experience with SHA and MdTA projects is desirable.
