This candidate will work in a team environment developing and analyzing traffic models, analyze traffic capacity, apply travel demand model theory, and create traffic simulations using software such as VISSIM, Paramics, Synchro and CORSIM.  The operations engineer will manage and lead team of engineers on transportation planning projects such as corridor studies, operational analysis studies, Project Study Reports (PSRs), and traffic impact studies.  Duties will also include preparing technical reports and proposals, managing projects and staff depending on experience and marketing for new projects, and making client presentations.   Requirements: A  B/S and M/S in Civil or Electrical Engineering or Urban Planning with an emphasis in Traffic/Transportation Engineering. 8+  in traffic engineering or planning.  P.E., T.E, or P.T.O.E license.
