The company Also offers an excellent comprehensive benefits package.Responsibilities: The position will provide technical supervision to traffic crews and engineers and be responsible for preparation and completion of engineering designs that are responsive to project needs. This candidate will work in a team environment developing and analyzing traffic models, analyze traffic capacity, apply travel demand model theory, and create traffic simulations using software such as VISSIM, Paramics, Synchro and CORSIM. The operations engineer will manage and lead team of engineers on transportation planning projects such as corridor studies, operational analysis studies, Project Study Reports (PSRs), and traffic impact studies. Duties will also include preparing technical reports and proposals, managing projects and staff depending on experience and marketing for new projects, and making client presentations. Requirements: A B/S and M/S in Civil or Electrical Engineering or Urban Planning with an emphasis in Traffic/Transportation Engineering. 8+ in traffic engineering or planning. P.E., T.E, or P.T.O.E license. Modeling with Synchro and PARAMICS Experience with simulation tools, environmental studies, travel forecasting models, traffic calming, GIS, client meetings, public meetings, proposals and project management Strong organizational and communication skills Working knowledge of Caltrans Design Manual, Caltrans Traffic Manual, and preparation of Caltrans PSRs is a plus previous work experience in consulting preferredAbout Us: Omni One, a division of a nationwide staffing firm founded in 1893, has 20 years experience as a local full-time placement and contract services provider.
