ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
• Experience and awareness of voice / network technologies and protocols, including but not limited to:
• Avaya Communications Manager V5.2.1
• Experience with S8800s, G700s, G450s, G650s, G890s, AudioCodes, AES, CMS, CAS
• PBX Administration: Vectoring, ARS & AAR tables, route patterns, skill based routing, etc' required
• CMS Administration: Dictionary administration, user/agent administration, report designing and developing Custom reports.
• VAL Manager: Adding, deleting and backing up announcements
• Avaya and Polycom IP phone product lines
• H.323 and SIP protocols
• SES and SIP Proxies
• Experience with Aura and Session Manager is a significant plus
• Experience in the design and deployment of large, complex networks and voice systems
• Working knowledge of network protocols and services
• Working knowledge of server setup and support
• Experience with NICE Voice and Screen Recording systems
• Dedication to detail and organization
• Ability to intelligently interact with vendors to resolve issue and install new services
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with other members of the Voice team and customers
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
• Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs
• Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
• Strong verbal communications skills
• Experience with integration of OCS and UM with Avaya a significant plus.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Position has no supervisory responsibilities.
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Full understanding of Avaya and peripheral Telecommunication systems

• The employee will be included in an on-call rotation in where they will be the primary contact for the department during his/her scheduled time.
• The employee will either be issued a laptop or need to have remote control access to his desktop at work from a home high speed internet connection.
