Weston Solutions, Inc. (WESTON®), a leading infrastructure redevelopment services firm, has an exceptional opportunity in our Chicago office for a Technician.Part time Positions Available - Daily air filter collection. Field technicians needed to drive to a number of locations within the Chicago area to collect air filters from air monitoring stations and deliver them to a laboratory. Samples must be delivered to laboratory by 10:30 am. Available schedules include 10 day on/4 day off and 4 day on (Thursday - Sunday). Requires working at least every other weekend. 40-Hr HAZWOPPER training preferred, but we will provide if necessary. Vehicle will be provided to perform activities. Approximately 20 hours a week, minimum. This is a perfect part time job for someone who would like to earn extra money while going to school. Job Requirements Requires working at least every other weekend. Applicants must be dependable, have a good driving record, and be at least 25 years old. 40-Hr HAZWOPPER training preferred, but we will provide if necessaryHigh School Diploma or equivalent and 0 to 2 years experience with Natural Science. Experience in a technical or environment and familiarity with, equipment and sample handling procedures, data processing equipment, maps and simple computations is desirable. Must be familiar with various field measurement or sample collection equipment and instrumentsEOE, M/F/D/V. Smoke/drug-free workplace.
