Technical Service Engineer
Use engineering skills, product and application knowledge to assist customers to select the best product to improve processes and solve their fluid spray problems. Use product, applications, and customer knowledge to promote new product development and sales growth in emerging and existing industrial spray nozzle markets.

1. Applications Engineering: Provide product recommendations to customers, sales representatives, distributors, and customer service representatives based on technical inquiries using existing applications tools. Assist customer service in the preparation of bid packages. Provide product performance data as requested. Test products as required. Follow up with customer to validate successful product applications. Maintain product and application databases. Visit customers as required, typically 3 to 4 times per year. Record customer feedback as required. Respond with technical assessment of returned product as required.

2. Product Development Develop new applications tools to facilitate the applications process. Develop project management skills. Coordinate applications involving fabricated and special products.

3. Training: Assist in the creation and presentation of training modules. Assist other departments by communicating information regarding how product applications affect the product(s) being sold or quoted.

Qualifications:
Interpersonal/Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work as a team member Ability to make presentations to small and large groups.

Technical Skills: Ability to define, analyze, and solve customer technical problems or specifications using engineering skills Fluids background a plus Experience with AutoCad, MSExcel, MSPowerPoint, and MSWord. Experience with project management Ability to learn and retain product knowledge Ability to train and evaluate others Ability to travel

Educational Qualifications: Two or four year degree in an engineering or science discipline or equivalent professional experience
