TRAFFIC ENGINEER

Our Client is looking to add an experienced Traffic Engineer or EIT to their design staff.  The primary responsibilities for this role will include Conceptualizing the initial traffic design approach for major phases of large transportation related projects, Planning, scheduling, conducting or coordinating traffic engineering work Coordination of aspects of the project with City, State, and County officials, and other outside agencies when required Consulting with supervisor on unusual problems and developments Preparing or reviewing plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates Participating in contract bidding and administration; observing project action on site.  The candidate needs a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, a Master's degree is preferred.  Must have an EIT registration, a PE license in Washington State is preferred and 5 years of experience with the design of signals, channelization, traffic control, illumination, and ITS, or any combination.  Our client is offering a salary of $80,000 + DOE.   Company: Business Careers Location: seattle, WA 98101 Salary/Wage: USD 80,000.00 /year Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Engineering Relevant Work Experience: 1+ to 2 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Industry: Engineering Services Occupations: General/Other: Engineering Industry: Engineering Services Reference Code: L09CF082608
