The Systems Engineer job(s) involves working with a team of Navy personnel, gov’t scientist & engineers, and other defense contractors, in laying ground work for overall system design and engineering of the Navy’s next generation Cruiser (CG(X).
Requirements:Min. 10 yrs exp engineering discipline or related industry experience.Bachelors degree or better.Knowledge of current combat system architectures for Navy surface platforms incl. CG/DDG (AEGIS Modernization), DD(X), DDG-1000 and CG(X).Current experience w/system requirements, state of the art technology being considered for development and test, Open Architecture concepts and basic tenets.
**Additional need for IA engineers & technical manager!Providing information assurance expertise and supports IA efforts. Min 5-7 yrs in software related discipline or related industry exp. Bachelors degree - exp. w/Navy Combat Systems (ACDS,AWS, SSDS, CG(x), DDG-1000, TDL and CEC embedded software applications and tactical software development. Java, C++, Ada associated GUI builders, IA knowledge and certs a plus.
