System Design Engineer
Education: Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related fieldExperience: 6-8 years of job-related experience preferredProficiency using LabView for circuit and system design synthesis. Extensive experiencing in programming Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA's) to perform multiple functions and support an end-to-end system design. Experience with design testing including test hardware and software that can simulate inputs from environmental sensors and other interfacing systems to perform end-to-end confidence testing. Spiral software and hardware design experience, including printed circuit board design. Desire skills in hardware design, HC12 family embedded development and TCP/IP stack socket interface. Proficiency in developing and performing engineering testing and test evaluations. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. ** US Citizenship Required** Job Description : Self-directed individual with excellent communication skills, and strong analytical skills to design, test, and document embedded processor electronic circuitry and/or tactical software in support of military weapon systems. The individual will utilize militarized COTS computer controllers and have demonstrated experience with embedded processor hardware/software development, C programming, and assembly language. Other responsibilities include research and analyze design proposals, requirements and specifications to determine feasibility of design or application Provide on-site test development and evaluation.. : : EOE M/F/D/V
