Supplier Development Manager

 Develop strategic supplier qualification programs to assure that Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes and practices are managed. Develop strategic procurement programs to assure progressive planning and implementation of quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost-competitive activities. Develop and deploy global supply chain processes for electronic procurement systems.1.Manage the supplier quality engineering development process for new product development activities to include: Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Supplier Qualification, first article approval, and supplier control plans. 2.Develop, administer, and maintain performance metrics for all Sourcing Long Term Agreements (LTA). 3.Manage established suppliers and investigate/determine new potential sources to secure competitive global cost, quality, and delivery results to meet or exceed financial and production objectives. 4.Direct the research, study, and analysis of Sourcing opportunities in international markets with major emphasis on transportation and logistics management; manage the negotiations and establishment of freight rates with low-cost country suppliers. 5.Develop and implement currency and metals based hedging strategies. Coordinate agreements/arrangements with IR Treasury Services and CCI Finance 6.Manage the Sourcing of returnable containers. 7.Direct efforts/processes to secure year over year supplier performance improvement for direct material expenditures within zone of responsibility. 8.Manage the use of IR Supplier Quality Engineers for low-cost country supplier development. 9.Collaborate with IR Strategic Sourcing and IR Center of Excellence Sourcing professionals involved with global procurement. 10.Supervise, train, and mentor subordinates. Percentage of Travel:20% Min. Yrs.
