RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for all maintenance of production equipment.' Properly maintain all equipment used in production process and fork truck areas.' Resolve recurring breakdown problems with production equipment. Develop and implement methods of preventing breakdowns.' Implement, monitor, and modify preventive maintenance programs on equipment used in the production process.' Effectively use maintenance team members to obtain maximum efficiency and utilization of each member of maintenance group.' Effectively delegate assignments so members of maintenance group are always productive and follow-up with results to ensure accountability.' Cross-train maintenance personnel as applicable on all production equipment using in-house material, vendors, and schools.' Carry out work requests in a planned, orderly, and expeditious manner. Monitor our requirements regarding quantity and type of spare parts.' Supervise with fairness, good attitude & work practices & function in compliance with Nestle's principles.' Utilize all technical talents within the plant and Nestlé division to resolve operating problems requiring technical assistance with focus on maintenance improvements.' Monitor and implement department work habits in compliance with good manufacturing practices.' Actively participate in & plan management development of all subordinates in maintenance department. ' Analyze high downtime production equipment as reported by the industrial performance department on a monthly basis work with plant engineering to resolve problems.' Assist in preparation and implementation of department expense and capital budgets.' Perform other duties as requested.QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience is preferred. Previous experience with SAP a plus.Ideal candidate will possess communication, planning, problem solving, leadership and decision making skills; Must be able to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks and assignments; Must be flexible and able to work as needed.
