The Structural Engineering Manager is responsible to lead the Structural Transportation Engineering efforts in the Phoenix office.  Opportunity exists for the candidate to also be the Baker lead person for all Western area structural transportation engineering work.

 

Ideal candidate will have a minimum of a BS degree in related field and have relevant experience in the analysis, design and implementation of structural transportation facilities for State DOTs, local agencies and private developers.

 

Required:Minimum of BS degree in related fieldMinimum of 15 years experience Supervisory skillsExperience in structural engineering management and operationsRecruitment skills of additional structural engineering personnelStrong writing and presentation skills and proposal writing experienceStrategic marketing skills to expand the structural engineering workloadKnowledgeable on National structural engineering initiativesP.E. license is requiredModerate travelGood problem-solving and communication skillsCapabilities to work in a dynamic environment and conduct multi-tasking efforts are essential.

 Preferred:Knowledge of ADOT and their staff.
