Location:Â San Diego, CA 92186 Employment Type:Â Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project, Employee Pay Rate:Â DOE Reference Code:Â 1001132731 On-site Stress Analysis Engineer contractor for the 787 Installation IPT within the Hamilton Sundstrand Power Systems Enterprise. Major responsibilities include: KEY FACTOR: Experience working Boeing stress analysis reports (format and methodologies). Experience in creating free body diagrams and associated hand calculations. Focus on finishing up static strength analysis work needed for certification Working with Lord Corporation to complete static strength report for 787 mounting system Static strength report on the 787 APU shipping container. Fatigue analysis of components in the 787 Inlet, Exhaust and mount systems Working knowledge of NASTRAN, ANSYS, Bruhn, Free body diagrams, Stress hand calculations Strong communication and teaming skills (working with internal & external customers & suppliers), and be skilled with all MS Office computer software products, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
