POSITION: Start-Up and Commissioning Specialty Technician HOURS: 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM or as dictated by daily activities QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Must be strong communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills. Minimum 5 years of commercial experience with start-up & commissioning of generators, UPS & switchgear systems. Experience in rigging, safety requirements, and applicable local codes and regulations. Must be well organized and have the ability to prioritize workload while providing excellent customer service. Able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strength and weaknesses of solutions and approaches to problems. Must be able to work with limited supervision, be willing to travel, and work hours as required by job and customer demand. Must be able to develop and execute effective timelines to ensure assembly, delivery and startup of new engine packages. DUTIES: Within Alban Engine Company policies promote the highest possible customer satisfaction, achieve business objectives, ensure department growth, and foster high employee morale, teamwork, and development. Position is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing all Uninterrupted Power Systems.
