Job Duties:  Candidate would be a member of the Command and Data Handling (C&DH) Analysis and Integration Team (AIT).  Job assignments would consist of performing system-engineering tasks related to architectural analysis, requirements definition and requirements verification of the International Space Station (ISS) Command and Data Handling system. 
Candidate would be expected to perform system/segment level C&DH architecture, subsystem design, requirements and verification analysis in support of ISS element/segment integration. 
Candidate would be responsible for updating and maintaining the Integrated Station LAN A-Spec.  These tasks consist of defining requirements and performing the verification of those requirements for the:  Ethernet physical layer, switching, routing, VLAN, and security, etc. functions. 
Candidate would be required to develop hardware and software Ethernet Interface Control/Interface Definition Documents (ICD/ IDD) for the ISS.  Included in this task are the definition and maintenance of: network protocols and applications, network configuration, and security schemes. 
Candidate would be required to work with the NASA customer and ISS International Partners to resolve data communication and interface requirements issues. 
Experience in system engineering disciplines, MIL-STD-1553B, Ethernet, and high-speed fiber optic communications desirable.  EOE/ADA
