*** NOTE: POSITION MAY ELECT TO BE BASED OUT OF PITTSBURGH, PA OR MORGANTOWN, WV***Help support our DOE client in providing solutions to our nation's energy crisis!EG&G, a division of URS Corporation, a FORTUNE 500 company, has an excellent Senior level position to support DOE's efforts in providing life cycle analysis (LCA) of advanced energy conversion systems.Must have B.S. in Engineering or related scientific field (MS preferred) with 5 years experience in Environmental Engineering or related field including life cycle analysis (LCA) experience.Analytical and research skills are essential for the success of this position. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to prepare and deliver formal presentations. Position requires U.S. Citizenship.Position may require some travel between NETL sites and the ability to pass/maintain a security clearance. Job Description : The Sr. Energy Analyst will be providing additional insight and updated information on the life cycle cost and environmental analysis or assessment (LCA) of energy systems to our DOE client located at the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) in Pittsburgh, PA and Morgantown, WV.Position will have the flexibility to be based out of either DOE location.Primary responsibilities will include: Performing LCA assessments of advanced energy conversion systems; Developing LCA assumptions and methodologies; Identifying applicable environmental regulations; Reviewing technical papers to develop understanding of the proposed concepts and boundaries of technology performance and; Preparing and delivering formal presentations.EG&G offers its employees a competitive salary and cafeteria style benefits package that includes matching 401k, employee stock purchase plan and educational assistance programs.This position may qualify for relocation assistance. : : EOE M/F/D/V
