Responsibilities:
As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM's mission by:
Responding to escalation tickets generated by the help desk and taking the necessary action towards resolution of the request or problem reported
Assisting with the installation, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers and networks Conducting projects with defined scope, and requirements set by manager
Assisting other IT members with desktop-related projects as required
Tracking and inputting inventory control information pertaining to hardware and software
Assisting with office relocations; ensuring that relocated IT equipment is functioning properly
Using problem resolution system to track calls, problems, and fixes
Communicating and helping enforce IT policies to end users, including but not limited to software licensing
Coordinating with vendors to provide hardware and other service support
Assisting offices in determining IT needs
Making new/replacement purchase recommendations
Creating and maintaining technical and user documentation for computing environments
Traveling to assigned offices (New England and upstate New York). Occasionally traveling to other offices as needed.- 10-15%
Participating in group information sharing 15-20%
Additional Job Details:
This position requires the ability to adapt to flexible work hours, travel occasionally and to carry and respond to a pager and/or cell phone on a 24x7 basis, as necessary to meet the business requirements of the Firm.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds and may occasionally be required to lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Requirements:
5-7 years of experience providing desktop support services to at least 100 end-users at multiple office locations.
Minimum of two year's experience in the use of desktop hardware and Microsoft operating systems is required. Strong understanding of with Windows 2000/XP desktop operating systems and utilities is required.
Strong knowledge of MS Office 2000/2007 suite of products is required.
Experience with Microsoft Windows 2000 Server required.
Experience with Hewlett Packard printers is a plus.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University.
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) a plus.
