Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job DescriptionCandidate will be part of a core QA engineering team testing a Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) solution. Candidate will work hand & hand with the development team, also providing part time support for field organizations. Some travel required

ExperienceCandidate should have experience in many of the following areas: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile development environment Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, while at the same time being able to work independently and a self-starter Four or more years of quality assurance testing of client/server web based JAVA applications Develop, maintain & execute test plans & test cases Understanding of white box and black box testing techniques Experience with source control & release engineering a plus Willingness to work hands on configuring and debugging equipment Experience in all phases of a software development process Understanding of  JAVA, XML, Perl, Windows Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience in a support role a plus A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
