Exciting opportunity in the digital on-demand TV industry developing software for advanced media encoding systems. Develop Java applications that allow cable and content providers to offer new and innovative content creation and encoding products. Employ full life-cycle development, including requirements gathering, design, and coding for various products and systems.
To qualify, interested candidates must possess:3+ years working with Java/J2EE in a Windows environment, preferably in a cable or telecom environment. 3+ years of server side development experienceFull lifecycle product experience, including requirements, design, coding, testing, and documentation. Experience using the Java programming language to build complex software systems. Experience in struts and swingStrong knowledge and experience with SQL, XML, ANT and CVS, Strut and HibernateStrong communication skills with the ability to understand and articulate complex ideas/concepts in verbal and written form.
Desired:Real time programming experience Windows C++ GUI experience. Experience with Direct show and .NET
