Software Engineer C++/Visual Studio
Under the general direction of the VP of R&D, is responsible for design and development of new products in accordance with Company plan. Additionally performs product improvement, and product redesign. Participates in concept development through production. Specific Responsibilities: 1. Represents and contributes software design and development for E&S products.2. Involved in concept development with Marketing and other strategic participants.3. Designs, develops, and/or specifies tools and methods for use in company products. 4. Creates documentation and specifications for new products as well as maintenance of documentation for existing products. 5. Responsible for creation and maintaining the project Design History File and ECRs, including organizing and documenting design review meetings through the design transfer at the end of the project.6. Oversees final product validation. Uses existing systems for gathering necessary changes and making modifications as required. 7. Recommends and implement product improvements.8. Diagnoses and provides tools for manufacturing issues and needs.9. Coordinates efforts with Quality Assurance to document and support regulatory requirements. 10. Participates with other professional engineering staff including Engineering Documentation, Software Engineers, and Test Engineers. 11. Other duties and responsibilities as directed.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related technical field required, advanced degree preferred. Minimum 3 years' related experience or advanced degree.MicroSoft Visual Studio and C++ skills mandatory.Medical Device experience preferred.Keywords: MicroSoft Visual Studio and C++, Medical Device, UNIX/Linux, ECR.
