Service Desk Technician

Provides information system solutions and technical support in one or more areas including personal computer/client server support, systems programming, applications design and development, database design and administration, telecommunications and network support and administration. Successful candidate will have expert experience in Windows 2000/XP operating systems. Individual must have strong troubleshooting skills with various hardware and software applications. (MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, IE, Netscape, etc.) Incumbent must have a high level of expertise with Active Directory administrations. Must be able to utilize SMS to remotely troubleshoot desktop systems. Must have a solid knowledge of utilizing TCP/IP in LAN environment. Must understand DOD security policies and procedures. Incumbent will need to maintain a high level of customer service, and possess excellent communications skills.  Requires an Industry recognized IT certification. Requires 7 years of relevant IT experience; a Bachelor’s degree +4 years may be substituted.  This position is for the Swing Shift, 2:30pm - 11:00pm.

Requires a TS/SCI + lifestyle polygraph clearance.
