Senior Wetlands Ecologist
*Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in ecology, biology, environmental resource management or other closely related field,*Minimum 7 years related experience in natural resource management consulting, with at least 5 years in a similar role managing projects and junior staff*Thorough working knowledge of the regulatory programs governing natural resource management within the tri-state area (PA, NJ, DE),*Project management skills and experience using a financial accounting system,*Demonstrated organization, and ability to plan multiple and often competing assignments,*Excellent communication and presentation skills*Direct experience managing FERC and or large permitting projects,*Direct experience managing projects for private sector clients and the utility industry,*Direct experience with principles of natural channel design, *Experience with stormwater and mitigation wetland design,*Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) certification, USACE Certified Wetland Delineator certification, or completion of extensive wetlands training program,*Strong knowledge of eastern Pennsylvania and tri-state area,*Familiarity with ArcView GIS, CAD and GPS SurveyingURSCB5xurs18x Job Description : RESPONSIBILITIES*Manage and support projects involving the range of services outlined above. *Help grow the Fort Washington Ecosystem Services Group, office and company in general by identifying project opportunities, preparing proposals, and winning work. Must thrive as a seller-doer.*Communicate effectively with project stakeholders including clients, regulatory agency staff, contractors and subcontractors, and public as appropriate.*Coordinate the activities of others to accomplish goals.*Mentor and oversee junior staff to develop their skills and help them gain competencies. : : EOE M/F/D/V
