We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join an industry leading BPMS vendor and contribute as a key member focused on architecture, design and implementation of complex server side products.Essential Job FunctionsSr. Java Developer* Design the expansion of the application platform including both design and runtime.* Continuously improvise through better designs, refactoring.* Design and implement scalable and high performance Web Services products.* Produce high-quality software that allows customers to increase returns on their investments * Design major components of the company's product suite * Collaborate with engineering and solution teams to implement best practices and methodology * Automate testing of products to ensure quality Minimum Position Requirements * BS required* 6 Years Experience* 3+ years of experience with Java development* Experience with database development* Experience with SOAP-based Web Services development* Experience with building JAVA EE and J2EE applications* Experience with WS - standards and specifications, including WS-Policy, WS-Security, WS-Addressing, or UDDI* Knowledge in cluster/highly-available/distributed/scalable systems and algorithms* Good understanding of the mechanisms and trade offs in implementing large scale transactional systems in multithreaded and multi-process modes* Familiar with common computer OS and platforms, such as Windows, UNIX, etc * Familiar with communication protocols, such as TCP/IP, http, etc* Ability to work independently and within a team environment * Exceptional analytical, problem solving skills * Excellent communication and collaboration skills Software AG, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
