CDM has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant in our Baton Rouge, Louisiana office.

This is a part-time position; approximately 20 hours per week; with a mutually agreeable schedule to the firm and the right candidate.

 

Job Description:

As a member of this team, you will contribute to CDM's mission by:

·  Preparing and typing correspondence, reports and records from source documents of a moderately complex or confidential nature

·  Drafting and editing correspondence for review, which is moderately complex and sensitive in nature

·  Originating and routing correspondence of a moderately complex nature

·  Compiling and computing data of a moderately complex nature, e.g. PC-based spreadsheet applications

·  Assisting in the review, verification, and editing of work produced by other staff, such as office clerks, word processors, etc.

·  Responding to and directing inquiries and telephone calls to appropriate parties

·  Receiving, opening and routing mail

·  Organizing and maintaining records, files and correspondence

·  Preparing and scheduling office activities such as travel arrangements, internal and external business meetings, and client or third-party appointments

 

Requirements:

A successful CDM candidate will have:

·  Seven to 9 years of related experience

·  A high school diploma or its equivalent

·  The ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines

·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
