Position: Senior RF Development Engineer
Location: NJ
Experience: 3+ years
Education: Master’s Degree
Job Description
This position shall aid in the development of high power RF Generator components/ systems and the subsequent production processes. Primary duties will include: analyzing RF generator characteristics; designing & building diagnostic setups aimed at understanding RF generator behavior under high power operation; and analyze the interactions of RF generator with subsequent matching networks and complex loads. The Sr. RF Development Engineer will also assist the transfer of new products from development to production and be involved in specifying and procuring required development and production equipment.
Qualifications
M.S. or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics (preferably with an emphasis on electro-magnetic and circuit design)
Comfortable using of high-power RF test equipment such as RF power meter, oscilloscope, multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, and VSCAN measurements
Comfortable with software, hardware and analysis of test results.
Diagnostics of high power RF circuits, components, subsystems and systems
Thorough knowledge of lab equipment Ability to define, set-up, perform and evaluate experimentsGood computer programming skills (experience in writing software routines for automation of test equipment is highly desired)
