We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer for our Phoenix or Tucson office. You’ll play a lead role in this position, designing and delivering SCADA and Process Control solutions. Responsibilities include control system requirements definition, drawing and specification development for field instrumentation and system hardware, software, and communications systems, application software functional specification development, software development, and implementation, field survey, system startup, construction coordination, and management.
On a daily basis, the Senior Project Engineer will:Develop Instrumentation and control system design drawings and specifications. Lead efforts to diagnose and resolve field I&C problems.Work independently from concepts and control strategies to program PLC, RTU, and DCS Controller programs.Work independently from concepts to configure SCADA and PCS master station database, alarms, historical log files, trends, and HMI based graphic displays.Responsible for developing and/or conducting and documenting field investigations and surveys, factory acceptance testing, and field testing, checkout, and startup of process instrumentation and control systems.Manage a core team of engineers and technicians to produce results.
We are looking for the following qualifications and education:
7+ years experience in designing and implementing DCS, SCADA or PLC-based systems including instrumentation, electrical, and software/hardware for utility or industrial applications. Experience in DCS and SCADA Design, DCS/PLC Programming/HMI Configuration, specification writing and cost estimating. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology. PE registration in at least one state. (Registration in Arizona is preferred.)
