In executing these projects, our people embrace integrity, excellence, teamwork and accountability - the values that connect us across the globe.The Oakland office is looking for a Senior Program Director responsible for the business development and execution of passenger railroad planning and design projects in North America, including high-speed rail, intercity rail and commuter rail projects operating on mainline freight railroad tracks or on separate ROW.  This position reports to the Northern California's Transportation Group's Vice President and Senior Section Manager.  Current on-going projects include Atlanta, Georgia, S. F. Bay Area-to-Central Valley, California High-Speed Rail projects; the TTC-35 multi-modal corridor in Texas; the Capitol Corridor from Sacramento to the S.F. Bay area; the Union City, CA BART and intercity rail intermodal station design project; the Caltrain Dumbarton Corridor commuter rail project; and various high-speed, commuter rail and freight rail projects in southern California, Nevada, Florida and Texas.Requirements:

BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, MS preferred. P.E is required, California PE desired. Twenty years of progressively more responsible experience in the planning and design of freight and passenger railroads, including way & structures, track, signals, stations, vehicles and maintenance facilities.  Proven track record as a successful senior project manager for large-scale passenger and freight railroad projects.  Demonstrated ability to successfully identify, pursue, win and execute profitably large-scale passenger and freight railroad projects.  Knowledge of the current North
American passenger railroad planning and design business, the key players and the important projects.
