Your Ingenuity is welcome!Produces detailed mechanical drawings, bills of materials and/or specifications used in planning and manufacturing of industrial refrigeration products under supervision of designer, engineer, supervisor or manager.Duties: makes piping, assembly and detail drawings; creates simple layouts of assemblies used in the detailing of parts; uses computer assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software; works with vendors and  customers; creates mechanical drawings and bills of material; makes any adjustments or changes necessary or desired.  Effectively uses sketches to record ideas and observed equipment.  checks dimension of parts, materials to be used, interrelationship of parts.  Drafts finished designs from sketches; prepares engineering release to production control; plots drawings using print room facilities and coordinates drawing transmittals.Requires an AS degree or equivalent from college or technical school and two (2) years related experience refrigeration and machinery design.  Seven (7) years related experience in machinery design would be equivalent to AS degree.  Requires CAD education or equivalent experience. Good written and verbal skills.  Personal computer working capabilities in MS Office Suite, AutoCad, etc.
