Our client has multiple offices throughout the country, and they are generally regarded as one of the top MEP firms in the country. Their Southern California office, located about 40 minutes north of Los Angeles, has an immediate staffing need. Currently, they have an opening for an HVAC Designer with at least 6 years experience working exclusively on commercial projects. Representative projects should include commercial office, retail, educational, and municipal/civic. Healthcare experience a plus, but not required.Requirements: Excellent skills with AutoCAD required. Significant experience in HVAC design including equipment selection, layout and sizing, and heat load calculations for commercial projects. Candidate must know duct sizing and pipe selection. Ability to perform mark-ups for drafters, run projects throughout the design and construction document production phase. Significant project experience with commercial facilities, including commercial/retail, hotel, hospitality and healthcare. Experience doing field visits for site assessment.
