In this position, you will: Work closely with key diesel fuel system suppliers to ensure their PV&V alignment with our processes. Develop and coordinate all engine projects for all diesel fuel systems PV&V activities with appropriate base engine design/development teams and application project teams. Have responsibility for PV&V sub-process deliverables for diesel fuel systems. Serve as a technical expert for the development and application of diesel fuel systems within Engine Engineering. Provide ownership for establishing and documenting all PV&V processes related to diesel fuel systems. Provide process leadership for all diesel fuel systems PV&V activities. Education Bachelor of science degree in Engineering.Required Skills and Experience 5 or more years of experience with engine design and development. 4 or more years of experience with diesel fuel systems with demonstrated record of accomplishments. Extensive knowledge of state-of-the-art analyses and test procedures used to qualify diesel fuel systems for production. Diesel engine application knowledge with excellent understanding of proper PV&V activities needed to develop a robust product for a wide variety of off-road applications. Excellent analytical skills with ability to blend both analytical and experimental procedures to produce robust engine sub-systems. Basic understanding of statistical experimental methods such as Design of Experiments, Design for Six Sigma (will test tolerance extremes or corner conditions, etc.).  Desired Skills and Experience Six sigma black belt experience or similar training. Pro/ENGINEER capabilities. Experience in PV&V with fuel system manufacturers. Project management skills. Engine data collection and evaluation skills (e.g. engine test management, Dyne experience, vehicle test experience, etc.) Component bench testing design and evaluation.
