Senior Engineer, Civil / Transportation / Pavements

ARA is seeking experienced and self-motivated engineers for full-time positions in our office in Vicksburg. Responsibilities: Organizing and participating in field data collection in support of pavement design, evaluation, and management projects. Field data collection for pavement design, evaluation, and management projects.  Data reduction and analysis. Support to more senior engineers. Analysis of pavement condition data for input to pavement management applications. Draft of technical reports in support of our pavement evaluation projects. Preparation of client presentations.  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Solid knowledge and understanding of pavement engineering, infrastructure management, or related transportation technologies. Strong communication and organizational skills. Working knowledge of MS Office products. Strong computer skills. Must be willing to travel, sometimes for extended periods. Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering, with an emphasis on pavement engineering, infrastructure management, or traffic data collection & analysis. Five or more years of relevant experience required. PE license desired.
