Spectrum Design Solutions, a Digi International Company is an engineering consulting firm located in the lower downtown area of Denver. We are currently seeking a rockstar Senior Software Engineer interested in working on a variety of applications for a wide range of customers.

Position Summary:

The Senior Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for leading the software development efforts on a variety of embedded design projects. Must have a BSEE or equivalent, as well as 5+ years experience in embedded design. Experience with embedded Linux and/or WinCE a must. Preferred skills include wireless integration and 32-bit MCU design.

Target Platforms:Embedded Cellular (wireless) Modules Digital Signal processors General purpose processors running Windows CE or .Net Micro Framework

Position Requirements Embedded C Hardware/Software Integration Windows CE and an interest in .Net Micro Framework RTOS Integration Algorithm implementation GNU tools Assembly Embedded Linux Windows Drivers Must have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years experience. Experience in following a structured design process Experience in medical, aerospace, or defense industries a plus Experience taking a product from concept through production Experience gathering requirements and writing specifications
