Job: Senior Electrical / Controls Engineer Location: San Jose, CA Job I.D. No.: 1783096 Industry: Automation Base salary range: $80k/yr. - $120k/yr.A very exciting, privately held automation system startup company needs, IMMEDIATELY, a Senior Electrical / Controls Engineer.This Senior Electrical / Controls Engineer's education and background will include the following: BSEE / MSEE education; Minimum of five years of closely related, hands-on experience, with the last, minimum of two years in a lead position; Design and development of servo / control systems; I/O design, including cabling / interconnect specification; Specification and integration of COTS components into systems; Circuit-level design, including PCBA design, utilizing design houses; Strong understanding of control theory; Design compensation for PID and other control methods; High level programming skils; Knowledge of mechanical design, with respect to servo systems; Experience with vacuum systems (to 10E-3 T); Experience with S2/CE safety standards; Knowledge of SEMI specs; Able and willing to do hands-on assembly and debug work; Experience with writing specifications; Experience with creating complete design documentation.
