Job Description:
This position will be responsible for optoelectronics device process development (with emphasis on visible DFB/DBR lasers and other integrated photonic devices) as well as wafer fab process development. Lead and manage technical aspects of new product introduction to manufacturing.
Qualifications:Master’s Degree (PhD preferred) Background in semiconductor laser physics, materials sciences and engineering, electrical/electronics engineering, mechanical engineering Industrial experience in the area of process development of semiconductor opto-electronics devicesWafer fab process development experience required Knowledge in DFB/DBR semiconductor diode laser process including grating fabrications is essentialUnderstanding of semiconductor opto-devices and other related backend processes (exposure to diode bonding, optoelectronics assembly is definitely a plus) Knowledge of device modeling and experiences in photonics development desirableMust be authorized to work for any employer in the US
