Sales Engineer - Solar Cell Assembly Systems

SUMMARY

Represent the company's products and services on an assigned account to improve the company's competitive market position.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Develops and maintains a long term business relationship between KUKA and designated accounts, including a knowledge base and relationship with key decision makers.

 

Sells specific systems to designated accounts:

  Solar Cell Assembly Systems 

 

Initiate proposal review meeting well in advance of proposal due date.

 

Follow-up, proposal assistance and close prospective sales based on qualified leads.

 

Assist in the development of proposal solution based on sound technical knowledge and previous install base of KUKA systems.

 

Assists in developing a pricing strategy for all proposals.

 

Initiates, develops and directs proposal presentations to customer.

 

Participates in contract administration.

 

Identifies new product and service markets needs for KUKA.

 

Helps develop sales support tools for our market.

 

Develops and implements sales forecast and assists in defining expected Group business volume.

 

Continually updates himself to new technology developments in Solar Cell Assembly.  Is resident expert in solar device assembly.

 

Assists in transfer of knowledge of solar cell assembly systems technology used in KUKA Special Machines Group in Augsburg, Germany.  Works in conjunction with Technical experts in KUKA Special Machines Group to carry forward install base knowledge.

 

Is willing to travel to open new sales accounts and to transfer knowledge from KUKA Special Machines in Augsburg Germany to KUKA, N.A.
