Sales Engineer - Rotating Equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES: - Establish and maintain a strong, positive relationship with the key decision-makers and influencers within the client's organizations. - Focus on Pipeline HQ's and Pipeline EPC's.- Support client activity during the business development phase, identify the evaluators, influence persons and decision-makers that are key to the project. - Act as the project or market champion within the company, leading all aspects of the business and project development from the initial stages through order entry. - Manage the client interface, including presenting the value proposition and negotiating contractual terms.- Establish a work plan for each phase of the project and arrange for recruitment or assignment of Client Services, Product Services, Controls, and Contracts personnel as Opportunity Pursuit Team members. - Manage and direct preparation of the technical and commercial proposal, including the preparation of price recommendations based on market information, preparation of the value proposition, and completion of the risk assessment and project cash flow analysis per guidelines.- Prepares business activity and forecast reports.- Act in a businesslike manner with regard to expenses, and meet the company sales, bookings, and earnings objectives while representing the client to the company and ensuring they are treated fairly. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.- 10+ years of related work experience required.- Rotating equipment sales and/or capital project business development experience, preferably within Gas Pipeline Industry.- Direct experience in the sales, application, or operation of turbo compressors, reciprocating compressors and gas turbines preferred.- Good understanding of machine design and thermodynamic principles and compressor performance application theory. - Develop and maintain positive client relationships.- Strong and confident presence in front of client.- Promote all company products and services to the Pipeline HQ's and Pipeline EPC's.- Proactively Develop Opportunities For a complete list of our open positions, please visit our website at www.jobsforsuccess.com.
