IMMEDIATE NEED!!!......Engineering & Construction company is looking for a Site Safety Specialist with 10+ years of experience working on large, multi million dollar construction projects. You need specific experience working on large, heavy industrial construction projects, preferably in the process industry (refineries, oil & gas, petrochemical, hydrocarbon, or a similar type of process plant). You need safety experience covering the following areas: Civil, Structural, Cranes, Piping, I & E, insulation, commissioning, & start up. You will be responsible for responders training, maintain records of employee and subcontractor safety violations and subsequent disciplinary actions, conduct walk-through audits of construction activities, and assist with investigating work-related injuries and property damages. It would be helpful if you are certified in First Aid & CPR and have knowledge of emergency rescue procedures. You need a thorough understanding of the rules & regulations associated with the following: OSHA, DOT, EPA, DEQ, & USCG. You need to be familiar with the following: Lockout/ Tagout, confined spaces, scaffolding, excavation, emergency response, cranes & critical lifts. This is a 12 month contract assignment and you need to be able to mobilize and start work by September 29th. Our client will pay for mob, demob, a trip home every month and a weekly per diem.Questions you will be asked: • Detail your experience as a Site Safety Specialist working on site, on large construction projects related to the process industry (refineries, oil & gas, petrochemical, hydrocarbon). • Do you have safety experience covering the following areas: Civil, Structural, Cranes, Piping, I & E, insulation, commissioning, & start up? • Do you have a complete understanding of the following rules and regulations: OSHA, DOT, EPA, DEQ, & USCG? • Are you certified in First Aid & CPR?
