SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER – MOTOR DRIVE & CIRCUIT DESIGN TO $120K+ NORTHEAST
Experience in motor drive and power circuit design. In particular; power inverters, motor controls and drives for DC, BLDC trapezoidal, induction motor servo amplifiers or high powered pulse width modulated (PWM) power supplies and EMC and EMI filter design. Working knowledge of power components and be able to design or specify MOSFETs, IGBT's, gate drivers, protection electronics, current sensors, inductors, transformers and other magnetics, capacitors, bus bars and control circuitry for power conversion. Understand the system interfaces and requirements to define and size the circuit design. Candidates should possess a high degree of knowledge with solving EMI and thermal management problems through innovative design.
Education/Experience:
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering with over seven years design experience.
Skills/Knowledge:
PC /Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.). Experience with PSpice circuit simulation required. Experience with Matlab, Simulink, Saber a plus.
