JOB DESCRIPTION / GENERAL SUMMARY:        

The Research Analyst is an important member of the Measurement Science group.  He/she is involved in doing Research & Development work as well as supporting ongoing Production.  This person is well versed in a statistical software program such as SAS and has basic introduction to Oracle databases and SQL queries.  This individual also has Research Methodology training/experience.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone with good research and data analysis skills to apply their talents in a high energy environment. 

 

 

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Take responsibility for R&D and production projects related to the Nielsen Internet Audience Measurement Services. Participate in research related to establishment of methodology standards for reporting of Internet and other media audience ratings Serve as liaison between quality assurance, panel management, operations, engineering, and measurement science teams with regards to methodology enhancements

 

 

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

-           1-3 years experience in a media/market/survey research or data collection company, preferably in a research department capacity.

-           Highly detail oriented, strong commitment to timely execution of tasks

-           Good working knowledge of the Internet and Windows applications

-           Required- Experience with statistical software package such as SAS or SPSS and/or SQL

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

-           BA/BS in behavioral sciences, statistics, mathematics, demography, survey methodology,  technical or a related field
