RFIC and Analog Layout Designer

The Position

ParkerVision has an immediate opening for an experienced RFIC and Analog Layout Designer to join our team and focus on RF and mixed-signal integrated circuit layout and design.  The position will be based at our Lake Mary, Florida design center, and will be expected to adhere to and promote ParkerVision’s values by performing duties in a manner that is consistent with being a team member and support the continued growth of the company.



Responsibilities include:

·  Physical mask design from schematic at the transistor level using foundry process design kits, DRC and LVS, debugging and solving LVS, DRC and antenna rule issues when they arise.

·  Candidate must have experience generating ESD structures, Pad rings, analog and RFIC cells, as well as top level chip assembly.

·  Other collateral duties as required.



Qualifications Include:

·  Candidate must have a minimum BSEE degree with 5 years experience in RFIC physical level design.

·  A proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso and ASSURA verification tools.

· Layout experience with deep submicron SIGE and CMOS, transistor matching techniques like common centroid, and use guard rings and isolation moats is a must.

·  Good written and verbal communication skills. 

·  The ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize issues and tasks. 

·  Maximize time efficiently to achieve business goals and objectives.

·  Ability to adapt quickly to change and work in a rapidly changing environment. 

·  Some local travel may be required, including overnight stays.

·  Self-directed, self-motivated.
