Quality Engineer - Metallurgical in the Carolinas
Position Title: Quality Engineer Description Growing forging company located in the Carolinas is seeking a success driven, versatile, professional Quality Engineer to take the responsibility of insuring the efficiency and quality of their forging operations. This forging producing firm offers a highly visible position with future promotional opportunities. This quality engineer will be hands on in assisting with on the floor quality issues. Preferred candidate should have a BS in Metallurgical studies or a Material Science degree. Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience in quality/engineering function in forging operation. Knowledge of carbon/alloy steels preferred. Training in Six Sigma analytical methodology desired.
