Quality Auditor

JOB SUMMARY:

 

Carry out the specific Quality Assurance activities as directed

by the Corporate Quality Assurance Manager or Project Quality

Assurance Manager and, perform project audits/surveillance as

Schedule.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

1. Responsible for conducting and documenting moderate and complex audit assignments and special projects.

 

2. Ability to perform audit assignments requiring basic knowledge and understanding of ISO Standard, auditing standards and practices; applies basic knowledge of Company operations, policies and procedures in conducting audit work.

 

3. Good working knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2000 Standard, administrative, operational, systems and management controls; able to evaluate systems of internal control. Unskilled in development of audit test work-steps, data gathering and audit work-paper documentation techniques.

 

4. Provides some advice and direction to Corporate/Project Quality Manager/Lead.

 

5. Conducts opening and closing meetings with auditee.

 

6. Documents workflow processes and internal controls through preparation of audit work-papers. Conducts test-work, which support conclusions, reached.

 

7. Responsible for preparation of audit findings, recommendations and audit report.

 

8. Responds thoroughly and timely to all follow-up matters; minimal supervision required to determine what actions are needed.

 

9. Assist the Quality Assurance Corporate Manager, as required, in the development of Procedures, Instructions.

 

10.Perform periodic audits/assessments of suppliers and sub-contractors.

 

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

This position requires:

 

- Bachelor degree in business, engineering, accounting or ten years equivalent of experience.

 

- Minimum 5 years of Auditing experience in Oil and Gas Industry

 

- Audit ISO Certified required.

 

- Good written communication skills.
