QA Engineer

RDW Group - iFactory, a local advertising, public relations, marketing and interactive company with offices in Providence, Worcester and Boston has an exciting opportunity for QA Engineer professional with 2 to 5 years experience.

YOU: You will work closely with other members of the engineering department to:Define engineering quality standards Investigate and set up technologies and infrastructure to maintain/enforce those standards Continuously improve existing & introduce new ways of automating QA Work with other engineers to improved quality of developer-written tests

 

You must be well versed in:Java web application development and web frameworks Unit, integration, web, performance, and acceptance testing tools such as JUnit, TestNG, HtmlUnit, Selenium, and FIT Modern testing methodologies such as Test-Driven Development Code metric and static code analysis tools such as FindBugs Investigating and integrating new technologies and frameworks on a regular basis

 

Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of professional experience and familiarity with these areas:Web programming in a UNIX or NT environment. Strong Java, C#, C++, PHP, Python, or Perl experience. Familarity with XML, XSLT, XPath & XQuery. SQL database MarkLogic XML content repository experience. Dynamic delivery of web content from databases. Excellent writing and presentation skills.

Must have excellent organization and communication skills, strong attention to detail, a poised, professional attitude, and the ability to multi-task efficiently.
