We’re not talking public relations, sales or trade show coordination. Our marketing staff help develop proposals that win work. We need a positive, outgoing and organized proposal coordinator who will help us win, Win, WIN! This is a fast-paced and challenging position with strong growth potential that requires an ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet constant deadlines, and the ability to take on new tasks while managing day-to-day responsibilities. If you’re up to the challenge, join us in the Walnut Creek office of Brown and Caldwell, a nationally recognized full-service civil and environmental engineering firm that for more than 60 years has been designing and executing environmental solutions for public agencies, municipalities and private industry. Primary responsibilities include:· Working with technical staff and marketing team to develop, prepare, edit/proof and produce client-focused proposals, presentations and marketing collateral materials· Creatively writing/tailoring cover letters, project descriptions and resumes; coordinating with graphics staff; · Providing general business development support (monthly meeting set-up, coordination and tracking). · Maintaining databases and other client and project tracking tools REQUIREMENTS: Four-year degree in journalism, communications, English, or marketing. Similar experience in A/E and/or construction management industry preferred. Meticulous technical editing/proofing capabilities and strong grammatical proficiency and proven editing skills are a must. InDesign proficiency preferred.
