Proposal Coordinator
GENERAL FUNCTION:
The primary job responsibility is to provide a diverse and wide variety of support functions for the Engineering organization primarily focused on the coordination and organization of responses to customer RFQ’s. The employee must utilize sound judgment in the development of proposals, completion of assigned tasks, and handling of confidential information. The employee must be able to multi-task and manage multiple proposals / projects at once. The job requires strong desktop publishing skills with strong proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The Employee must be able to work fluctuating work schedules and extensive mandatory work hours required by work loads when necessary, including weekends.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Understand the basics of oil and gas process equipment procurement and proposal activity.
Organized and confident. Good skills in task organization and communications. Able to coordinate communications from multiple sources.
Excellent PC proficiency. Able to perform Word processing and develop spreadsheets.
Ability to work effectively with and share best practices with other Proposal Coordinators.
Requires precision so that proposals correctly reflect the needs and accurately represent all technical and economic considerations.
Ability to read and comprehend quotations, procedures, reports, and documents.
