Project Planner

Take ownership of power systems projects to assure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. This includes oversight of communication internally with engineering, sales, production, purchasing, logistics/shipping, and externally with distributors and customers to:-Assure timely and accurate communications of project technical documentation.-Achieve on-time delivery of all project deliverables.-Negotiate and resolve customer issues and disputes.-Maintain or enhance project margins.Ideal candidate will have an Engineering background with experience in project planner/management.Support Six Sigma initiatives to drive continuous improvement within the business group.Support existing project management processes to improve customer communication levels and support business growth initiatives.Develop new or enhance existing processes to keep pace with rapid growth in business.Manage assigned projects to assure that change orders are processed as required, accurate pricing on projects are maintained, and Technical Project Managers and switchgear suppliers are informed of major change orders, etc.In collaboration with Technical Project Managers and others, determine need to move in projects or to delay projects. Follow-up with distributors as required to get orders off hold status.Work with genset scheduling on aligning gear with genset schedules.B.S. Engineering degree; MBA desirable.Ability to communicate effectively, contribute to, and manage team projects.Proficiency with PC based spreadsheet, project management, scheduling, and resource planning software(s).requirements and achieve delivery commitments.Demonstrated strong organizational, record keeping, and oral presentation skills.Strong sense of ownership and determination to insure project success and customer satisfaction.Email your resumePlease click here,or copy and paste the following link into your email browser, to email your resume.
