Project Officer - MRAP
B.S. degree and at least 10 years related experience. Additional experience may substitute for degree requirement. Must possess experience in support of Department of Defense programs. Must possess strong MS Office skills. Knowledge and experience in program management, production, life cycle sustainment, safety, engineering, major program acquisition and/or logistics. Proven track record and ability to respond quickly and with comprehensive recommendations and completed actions is required. Position will require ability to travel.Position requires ability to obtain and maintain a clearance. Current clearance highly desired. Job Description : EG&G's Cougar Team is in need of a project officer to support special projects and actions throughout the Cougar Core and Matrixed multi-disciplinary team. Serve as the focal point for special projects as assigned by APM Cougars. Host meetings, adjudicate concerns and issues, coordinate across the program office and the OEM to close actions, monitor and execute contractual requirements, interface with functional staff, etc. Execute resolution of issues expeditiously. Provide program management advice and assistance including strategic planning, analysis, problem solving, scheduling, and recommendations of solutions/approaches in support of APM Cougar implementation of management, operations, and acquisition strategies. : : EOE M/F/D/V
