(ITSI) is a national Engineering, Construction & Consulting firm based in Walnut Creek, California, (www.itsi.com) focusing on providing design-build infrastructure and environmental solutions for our clients.  ITSI's clients include all branches of the Department of Defense in addition to municipal and commercial clients.

 

ITSI is seeking Project Inspector/Engineers (Civil and Mechanical) for our Government Construction Group in our San Antonio TX office.  We are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast paced, busy environment and like a challenge.

 

Responsibilities include the following:Civil work - Field construction quality control oversight on pavement, utilities, and vertical construction projects.Mechanical work - Field construction quality control oversight on HVAC design/construction projects.Review designs performed by others (ITSI/subcontracted forces)Prepare submittals and manage same through the approval processDevelop quality control reports, post construction reports, and detailed progress reporting (in-house)Assist to develop and manage project execution strategies, to include determination of task components required for successful and efficient project execution, and identification of ITSI or outside forces required to execute task components

Experience Requirements:

2 - 5 years engineering experience

BS degree in civil or mechanical engineering preferred or related field

Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and Projects skills required

Strong communication skills required
