Project Engineer / Applications Engineer – Machine Design – NJ, USA
We need an engineer with solid experience in machine design and experience interacting with customers.
Responsibilities:
• Develop machine concepts - need good knowledge of machine design
• Quotations to customers
• Able to develop relationship with customers-need a sales personality
• Meet with customers as need to go over concepts but will get into technical end
• Once project received:
o Set up project schedule internally
o Run weekly project meetings and coordinate various departs to ensure on schedule
o Act as liaison to customer to keep them informed and ensure that customer is providing items
o Review engineering drawings to ensure concept is sound
Requirements:
• Mechanical Engineering Degree or Electrical Engineering degree with strong mechanical background.
• Strong experience in building or designing machinery.
• Managerial experience.
• Experience interacting with customers.
