Manpower Professional of Central Illinois has a Project/Design Engineer position available in Decatur Illinois. An established manufacturer of industrial material handling equipment is seeking qualified candidates to join there engineering department. This is a permanent position paying depending on experience. Candidates will be responsible for preparing submittal, installation,assembly and detailed drawings based on project specifications related to material handling equipment.This is a challenging position as the qualified candidate will be responsible for guiding the project from the initial customer requirements, to the design and manufacturing phases, and through to testing and customer acceptance.Qualified candidates must possess a two-year technical degree in mechanical engineer. Additional experience in pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical controls is a big plus.
