Job Description Project Controls Engineer Our client, a Consulting Engineering in Denver has an opportunity for a Project Controls Engineer for their Energy Division, with relevant experience in project controls for engineering of industrial projects. The project controls work will be primarily related to engineering activities and their incorporation into overall project costs and schedules. In addition, planning, scheduling and capital cost estimating will be required. Responsibilities will include:. Development and coordination of Progress and Cost Reports (PCR's) utilizing earned value techniques; . Development and monitoring of project schedules; . Assisting project managers with initiation, development, issuance and tracking of change orders; and, . Development of project capital cost estimates;A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred with a min. of 3 years exp. preferably with Energy related projects. The successful candidate will have knowledge of commonly used engineering concepts, practices and procedures. Demonstrated communication skills and a working knowledge of Primavera Project Management (P6), Microsoft Access, Excel and Word are required.Qualified candidates must be eligible to work in the United States of America. They offer competitive salary and benefits packages and they are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
